I am a founder and managing partner at Ionian Asset Management, where I use my analytical skills and systems-based approach to lead multifamily real estate projects. My journey into real estate began in 2008, when the financial crisis showed me how vulnerable even disciplined savers were to Wall Street’s volatility. Seeking stability and true financial independence, I turned to multifamily real estate — a tangible, cash-flowing asset class that offers both control and long-term growth. In addition to my work at Ionian, I serve as Associate Medical Director of Pediatrics at Mount Sinai New York. I’m passionate about lifelong learning, family, and helping others build lasting wealth.

I am a founder and managing partner at Ionian Asset Management, with over 35 years of experience in construction and real estate. I bought my first commercial property in Brooklyn in 2004 for my electrical business, and after navigating the 2008 financial crisis, I sold it in 2014 for 3.5 times the purchase price—more profit than a decade of running my business. That experience made me realize real estate was where I truly belonged.
Since meeting Alon in 2010, we've combined our individual portfolios, and I remain committed to consistently delivering strong returns for our investors.

My wife and I became landlords in New Jersey in the late ’90s, but nothing really moved the needle until we discovered multifamily real estate. We started as limited partners and quickly saw real cash flow and equity growth. The turning point came when we bought a four-unit property in North Carolina: it cost less than our NJ condo, produced more cash flow, and appreciated 50% in just four years. I’ve found nothing compares to the stability, appreciation, and tax benefits of multifamily done right.
As a longtime residential landlord, I’m deeply involved in multifamily real estate investment in North Carolina and New Jersey. I’m also an angel investor, former marketing firm president, and SCORE mentor, passionate about helping businesses and entrepreneurs succeed.

After college, I followed in my father’s footsteps and became a corporate banker. It seemed like a proven path—own your home, put your kids through college, and be ready to retire by 60. But as home prices and college costs skyrocketed, I realized that relying solely on a salary and hoping the market cooperated would take much longer than planned to achieve financial freedom. I needed another option, and that option became multifamily real estate.
I bring over 20 years of financial expertise, specializing in commercial lending and multifamily real estate investments. I hold a BS in Finance & Marketing from The State University of New York at Albany and have extensive experience advising mid-market and enterprise-level firms on financial strategies.
